Career Highlights
Product Spotlight presentation
April 2019
Our product team presented an overview of our product goals, accomplishments and ways of working to our technology and business teammates. As UX Designer on the team I shared the work I’ve done on bringing human centered design and customer’s POV to help inform decisions. At the time of this presentation our team was not creating any interface so my work was focusing on discovering insights on the management and human factors of personal data.
First Place - Hack-a-Thon
March 2019
We were challenged to create a tool that would improve team sport participation in underserved communities. Our team - a Product Manger, Engineers and myself as UX Designer - created Athens. Users of Athens could donate or find equipment, facilities, transportation and coaching through Athens’ match making platform.
in-store TEAM research
March 2019
To expose our team to the customer impact of our database architecture and services I coordinated a visit to a local Dick’s Sporting Goods store. We spoke with customers to learn how they understand and use their personal information when interacting with our company. I recruited another designer and a test engineer to join us in observing customers interactions as employees reference their personal information. We also offer gift cards to customers willing to allow our engineers to look up their records and UX to interview them about how they share their data.
